I don’t know about you, but I don’t need a 2,000 year old book to tell me what is right and what is wrong. I certainly wouldn’t take “commandments” from a hypocrite in reality, let alone the fiction of the Bible.
The Bible really does a poor job of characterizing their super hero. I find the likes of Superman and Batman to be a lot more moral than God. I could give examples, but what’s the point, if you’re reading this, you know the inconsistencies and the contradictions.
When someone tells me that I was born in Sin, I know exactly who the enemies of humanity are. How can one go about life hating their own existence because some make-believe aura of evil that haunts them for existing? Not just themselves, but they think that of every human being. It’s sickening, it’s unhealthy, and a dangerous mindset.
So what is Sin? Well, you were born with it, and God just hates it! If you don’t repent you’ll go to HELL.
I’m sorry, people subscribe to this belief?
In reality, Sin is a word that has no meaning. We all know right from wrong, science has come up with great theories on why that is, and none of them have anything to do with a super hero.
